Explain where data goes before asking anyone to choose.

Geomontao uses a local-first approach for charts, archives and conversations. This does not mean all data always stays on the device. When cloud AI is used, the question and chart context necessary to complete that interpretation are sent to the service.

This policy applies to terramontao.com, operated by 深圳坤艮问道文化科技有限公司, and to personal data for which we determine the purpose and means of processing in the Geomontao beta. Device-platform providers, email providers, website infrastructure and cloud AI providers process necessary data under their own terms.

If a Geomontao feature gives a more specific notice at the point of use, that notice applies together with this policy. Where the two differ, the more specific and transparent notice governs that feature.

Website visits: the initial release does not enable an independent visitor-analytics store, and it does not retain behavioural events for navigation, language changes, beta entry points or contact entry points. We self-host and administer the website on an Alibaba Cloud mainland-China server in Shenzhen, with Nginx serving the site, static assets and request routing. To deliver pages, protect the service and investigate faults, Nginx creates necessary access and error logs that may contain the IP address, request time, HTTP method and path, response status, User-Agent, referring page and fault details. We do not use these logs for profiling, and they do not record charts, birth records or conversation content.

Email contact: we process the address, subject, message and attachments you choose to send so that we can answer a beta application, product-feedback message or partnership inquiry. Please do not include identity documents, complete birth records, chart screenshots or unrelated sensitive information in a beta application email.

Geomontao: birth time and place, charts, archives and conversations that you create are used first to provide the features you choose. The product explains the boundary between on-device calculation and storage, local archives and cloud AI interpretation at the relevant point of use.

Local archives, charts and conversations remain on your device until you delete them in the product, clear the app's data or remove the app. Whether a device backup includes this data depends on your operating-system and backup settings. You are responsible for protecting your device passcode and system account.

Only when you actively use a cloud AI feature are the question, necessary chart context, language and safety-related signals needed for that interpretation sent to the service. We do not require a real name or identity-document number in a question.

The cloud models and infrastructure used during beta may change. Geomontao should show the service information that applies when the feature is enabled. If that explanation is not sufficient for you, you can decline cloud AI and continue using any available on-device features.

We self-host and administer the website on an Alibaba Cloud mainland-China server in Shenzhen. Alibaba Cloud provides the cloud server and underlying network infrastructure; we manage Nginx, the website files and the logging policy. The initial release does not enable an independent website-analytics service. Tencent Enterprise Mail processes email that you choose to send to linteyu@terramontao.com. Geomontao's cloud AI and runtime providers process necessary context only when the corresponding feature is used.

Depending on their infrastructure, these providers may process necessary network, diagnostic, email or request data in different regions. We do not sell personal data to data brokers because someone visits the website, and we do not send charts, birth records or Geomontao conversations to a website-analytics service.

You control on-device data, which remains until you delete it. Beta applications and general-contact email are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last substantive exchange. Records connected with an ongoing relationship, dispute or legal requirement are kept only for as long as that purpose requires.

The website has no independent event-analytics store, so we do not retain website behavioural analytics. Necessary Nginx access and error logs are retained for no more than 30 days. The server must enforce daily rotation and automatic deletion at the end of that period through logrotate. Only the minimum relevant logs may be kept longer, with separately restricted access, when necessary to handle a specific security incident or dispute or to meet a legal obligation; they are deleted when that matter ends. The retention arrangement for a cloud AI request is the one disclosed when that feature is used. For data under our direct control, we delete or de-identify it at the end of the relevant period unless applicable law requires limited continued retention.

You may choose not to send an email, not to use cloud AI interpretation, or to delete local archives from your device. You may also ask to access, correct, receive a copy of or delete information you sent by email and, where applicable, withdraw consent or object to further processing.

Contact linteyu@terramontao.com and identify the address or conversation connected with your request. We may ask for proportionate verification so that we do not disclose or delete another person's information.

The first Geomontao beta does not accept applicants under 14. A person under 14 must not submit a beta application or provide personal data through an application email. A person aged 14 to 17 should apply and participate only with a guardian's knowledge and consent.

If we learn that we received an application or personal data from a person under 14, we will stop the relevant processing and, after verification, delete it or take other protective steps required by applicable rules.

Version 1.1 (10 August 2026): the website contact address changed to linteyu@terramontao.com and the email provider changed to Tencent Enterprise Mail. This update does not expand the categories, purposes or retention periods of data processed by the website.

We will update the version number and effective date when material processing practices, providers or product features change. Material changes will be explained prominently on the website or in Geomontao.
